Digital wedding invitation cards

EkadInvite makes digital wedding invitation cards for couples in Malaysia: you pick a design, fill in your event details, and share one link on WhatsApp. It is a single payment, Gold RM29 or Diamond RM69, with no subscription, and your card does not expire once the wedding is over.

What your wedding card includes

  • Akad nikah and reception on the same card, each with its own date, time and venue
  • Live RSVP that asks which side of the family a guest is coming from
  • GPS navigation to the venue, a live countdown, and an add-to-calendar button
  • A guestbook for wishes and doa from your guests
  • DuitNow money gifts and a wishlist on the Diamond plan
  • Bahasa Melayu, English, or both on the same card

Why couples choose a digital wedding card

  • One link covers every guest, and you can still correct details long after the card has gone out.
  • Pay once. The card does not expire, so a relative opening the link in the week of the wedding sees the same card.
  • Guests install nothing; the card opens in the phone browser straight from WhatsApp.
  • Attendance numbers add themselves up, so you book catering on real figures rather than guesses.

Akad nikah and reception on one card

Most couples in Malaysia hold more than one event. Akad nikah for close family on one date, a reception for the wider guest list on another, sometimes in a different state. On your card each event stands on its own with its name, date, start and end time, full address, and navigation straight to the venue. Both sit on the same card, so you send a single link and guests can see for themselves which session concerns them. If a date or a hall changes after the card has circulated, you fix it in the editor and that same link shows the new details.

RSVP when both families invite separately

A wedding invitation rarely goes out from one pair of hands. The groom's side sends to their relatives, the bride's side to theirs, and the parents on both sides keep lists of their own. That is why the RSVP form on a wedding card asks one extra question before a guest submits: which side they are coming from.

  • The options are the groom's family, the bride's family, the groom's guest, or the bride's guest.
  • Every response is recorded straight away with the name, phone number, adult and child counts, and any message left behind.
  • In your dashboard you can search by side, and export the full list to CSV when it is time to talk to the caterer or the hall.

Sent on WhatsApp, because that is how invitations travel here

A paper card changes hands once. A link gets copied, forwarded, and dropped into family groups without you lifting a finger. When the card link is sent, WhatsApp shows the title and the card image rather than a bare string of characters. Guests tap once and the card opens in their phone browser: nothing to download, nothing to sign up for, no app to install. You can also download your card's QR code to print on table cards, an entrance sign, or the physical card you hand to older relatives yourself.

Money gifts without cash at the door

On the Diamond plan you can put your own DuitNow QR code inside the card, alongside bank account and e-wallet details. Guests who cannot attend, or who would rather send something early, scan it and transfer straight to your account. The money never passes through us. The same plan lets you list the gifts you actually need so nothing gets duplicated, and write a short thank-you note above the QR so that part of the card feels warm rather than like an invoice.

What does it cost next to printed cards?

EkadInvite is a one-time payment for one card: Gold RM29 or Diamond RM69. There is no monthly fee, no charge per guest, and no free plan. Printed cards are priced per piece, so the total climbs every time the guest list grows, and that is before stamps, postage, and the trips back and forth to the print shop.

  • Add fifty names at the last minute and your digital card costs exactly the same.
  • Misspelled a name or got a date wrong? You fix it yourself, and the link already in circulation updates with it.
  • The card does not expire, so the link still opens years later as a keepsake of the day.

Gold or Diamond for a wedding?

Gold at RM29 already covers the full design, unlimited RSVP, the guestbook, GPS navigation, the countdown, background music, and a gallery of up to 10 photos. Diamond at RM69 adds DuitNow money gifts, a structured wishlist, personal invitations for VIP guests, an our-story timeline, the event itinerary, live links, and a gallery of up to 20 photos. If you plan to receive money gifts through the card, Diamond is the plan you need. If not, Gold is enough.
